ALTAR GUILD

The Altar Guild is made up of women who serve the Lord and the church by caring for the altar and the ceremonial aspects of church services.  They keep the Chancel area in good order, prepare for Holy Communion, change banners and paraments, and clean Communion vessels, linen and acolyte robes.  Members serve on a regular schedule or may serve as substitutes.

CELEBRATION CHOIR

If you love to sing, then the Celebration Choir is the place for you!  This mninistry is open to adults (high school and beyond) to lend their voices to the choir.  You don't have to read music, just enjoy singing.  They meet on Wednesday evenings from 6-7:30pm.

FELLOWSHIP MINISTRY

Working as a team of two, this ministry prepares coffee for people leaving the 8am service as well as handing out donuts.  This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and catch up with your long-time friends.  Each team volunteers for one month twice a year.

USHERS

Are you friendly, like to help people, enjoy taking other people's money?  Then ushering is for you.  Ushers play an important role in our worship service by handing out worship programs, answering guest questions, making sure people are comfortable, counting attendees, gathering the offering, and usher members to communion.

SUNDAY MORNING GREETERS

Are you friendly?  Do you enjoy talking with people?  If so, this ministry will be perfect for you.  A greeter welcomes people as they come into worship, they make them feel welcome and answers any question that they might have concerning the worship service.

MUSIC & WORSHIP TEAM

Our contemporary worship services uses members who have talent and desire to play various instruments and sing to lead the service.

ACOLYTE

This is an opportunity for our younger members (11 - 14 year olds) to participate in the service by lighting the candles prior to service and  assist the Pastor during Holy Communion.

SUNDAY READERS

If you enjoy speaking in front of a group of people, this area is for you.  We have a group of people who volunteer to read the scripture lessons for the day during the service.

VIDEO & SOUND TECHS

Do you enjoy using technology?  If so, one of these areas might be right for you.  We are looking for volunteers to run the PowerPoint presentations which contain the service songs, readings and responses.  We also need volunteers to monitor the sound for the multiple microphones used during the service and record the sermon.

SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS

Is your gift teaching children?  If so, we are looking for people to help teach our Sunday school age children (K-6th grade).  Bringing the Word of God to children is what we are asked to do.

FOOD CLOSET

Our St Peter church and school families donate food items for our closet.  We are looking for vounteers to prepare bags for the fonrt office to hand out.

ADULT BIBLE CLASS TEACHER

We are looking for individuals that enjoy teaching/leading Bible study for adults in between our services.  There is a large library of material to choose from for the class.
